sign-in with browser alternative#24

I’m not sure if this is annoying for anyone else but I really hate this whole sign-in with browser that I keep having to do every time I restart my PC. I dont have that with any other app installed and it seems a bit excessive. I understand the need to validate the licence but I have many other apps that dont ask at all. I wouldnt mind if it was every 3-4 months but having to do this step every restart it a pain (especailly as Microsoft now has this habbit of restarting without asking me).

Please consider an alternative way to validate the software and allow us to stay logged in beyond a restart.

FYI, the reason I felt compelled to write this now is because I cant sign-in for some strange reason. The web page loads, I am able to view my account, but the app times out, see image attached

OK, let me know if you need any additional information from me. I would still like to see a reduction in the need for online this sign-in process because it is a bit irritating. Thanks

Just want to say that its been 3 months since i posted this, I think cant sign in anymore. I tried re-installing the app, still no luck. I can access the site and online portal without any issue but whenever i try to sign in, nothing happens, I login but the app doesnt get the authentication.
